2.1 Create Item in Local Inventory Organization
- Form Application: Inventory
- Form Name: INVIDITM
- Form Path: /oracle/apps/r12/visr12/apps/apps_st/appl/inv/12.0.0/forms/US/INVIDITM.fmx
Items are created in master organization first and enabled in local inventory organization later. Item must exist in master organization to activate in local inventory organization.
Create Item in Local Inventory Organizations - Oracle Inventory
Navigation: Inventory responsibility -> Items -> Master Items -> Click on ‘FIND’ icon (View – Find)-> Enter Item Number to search existing item -> Click ‘FIND’
Item information in item master organization screen opens up.
- Navigate to Tools -> Organization Assignment
- Check the ‘Assign’ check box against each local inventory organization.
- Save the changes made.
Items are enabled in local inventory org now.
