there is no standard oracle process. at one of my client they have a process called ‘Obsolescence’, where on hand items and their age is consider how much percentage of inventory value to be obsoleted, manual journal entries are passed to do adjust inventory valuation.

Oracle offers global purchasing or business group level purchasing. Global purchasing allows buyers to procure across business groups.
