MPS helps to define the production schedule, if there is no production schedule the assumption is organization is ready to manufacture the demand it has to plan the raw material.

1) Standard Purchase Order
2) Blanket Purchase Order
3) Contract Purchase Order
4) Planned Purchase Order

Blanket Purchase Orders will have blanket releases.
