2.8 Create Customer Items

Customer Items are Item Numbers used by customer for the items you sell to your customers. By having customer items you can place the sales order based on customer item while Oracle automatically understand oracle inter item. Customer Item numbers are customer specific, so you can have same item referenced differently by each customer.
Navigation: Inventory responsibility -> Items -> Customer Items -> Customer Items
- Click on ‘New’ to define a new customer item
- Select the ‘Customer Name’
- Enter the ‘customer item’
- Select the level at which this item can be associated. You can choose at the customer level, customer address level or customer address category level.
- Select the commodity code.
Save the changes.
