Quick Shipping screen allows to perform different transactions with less navigation, this is completely different from ‘One step shipping’.

Navigation:
Shipping super user responsibility -> Shipping -> Quick Ship

  • Query the delivery/delivery line
  • Perform the desired action/transaction.

One Step Shipping

Transaction: One Step Shipping

Description:
One step picking is completing all shipping transactions in sequence i.e picking, pick confirming, packing and shipping. Actions available in Shipping transactions are

  • Pick and Ship
  • Pick, Pack and Ship

Based on actions selected it triggers the sequence of activities to complete the shipping process.

Navigation:
Shipping super user responsibility -> Shipping -> Shipping -> Transactions.

  • Query the delivery/delivery line
  • Go to delivery lines tab.
  • Select ‘Pick and Ship’ or ‘Pick, Pack and Ship’ from ACTIONS drop down menu.
  • Save the transaction.

Purge Delivery

Description:
Deliveries can be purged when they no longer need to be accessed.  Purging will remove the delivery related information permanently. There are other database options to archive into different database or Business Intelligence (BI) software.

Shipping super user responsibility -> Shipping -> Purge SRS
