Transaction: Calculate Weight and Volume for a Delivery

Description:
Weight and volume can be calculated automatically or manually entered for a delivery. For each item at item master level it will have unit weight and volume details maintained, these values are used to calculate the actual weight and volume of delivery. Apart from weight and volume fill percentage is also calculated for a container if item-container relationships are maintained.
Every time a delivery line quantity is changed weight and volume is adjusted automatically.

Navigation:
Shipping super user responsibility -> Shipping -> Shipping -> Transactions.

• Query the delivery/delivery line
• Go to delivery lines tab
• Verify the weigh and volume details.

Transaction: Unpacking Delivery Detail

Description:
Unpacking is a way of taking the item out of container for either back-order or making any changes to the order. When the delivery line is packed it doesn’t allow changes. To unpack a delivery line Delivery must be packed and not shipped.

Navigation:
Shipping super user responsibility -> Shipping -> Shipping -> Transactions.

• Query the delivery/delivery line
• Go to delivery lines tab
• Select ‘UNPACK’ from Actions drop down menu.
• Click ‘GO’
• Save the transaction.

Transaction: Auto Pack Deliveries SRS

Description:
This is concurrent (batch) process to perform automated packing.

Navigation:
Shipping super user responsibility -> Shipping -> Requests -> Auto Pack Deliveries SRS.

Enter the parameters for the SRS request.

Submit the concurrent request.
Upon completing normal verify the request output.
