Miscellaneous Issue
Miscellaneous Issue transaction in Oracle Inventory is performed to decrease inventory for any miscellaneous Inventory adjustments.
You should be in any Inventory Responsibility with Miscellaneous Transaction access.
Navigate to Transactions –> Miscellaneous Transaction
Select the transaction date, select transaction type as ‘Miscellaneous Issue’. Click on ‘Transaction Lines’ to enter more line level details.
1) Enter Item number for which On-hand Inventory will be issued out.
2) Enter Sub-inventory from which on-hand will be issued out. If Sub-inventory is ‘Locator’ enabled then you are forced to enter Locator information as well.
3) Enter Transaction Unit of Measure.
4) Enter Transaction Quantity.
5) Enter General Ledger (GL) account to which this transaction should be accounted.
6) Enter ‘Location’ information. This is by default optional. Location represents physical address of the building where Inventory is stored/received. Locator represents the row –> rack –> bin i.e. precise co-ordinates where within a building it is stored.
7) If the Item is Lot or Serial controlled, then you have to enter Lot number and serial number(s).
8 ) Select the suitable ‘Reason code’ from list of values. This is optional but helps in reporting.
9) Enter the transaction reference for traceability. If this transaction is originated from legacy system then legacy transaction number can be used as reference.
10) Click on ‘Save’ or ‘Ctrl + S’ to save/complete the transaction.
You can enter multiple lines as well before completing the transaction.
