Setup Navigation: Shipping super user responsibility -> Shipping -> Setup -> Define Release Sequence Rules.

Setup Description: Release sequence rules are used during pick release. When all eligible lines for pick release are selected, based on release sequence it sorts the eligible lines and releases in the same order. This is very important when you have limited on-hand stock and you have many orders open and eligible for pick release, this rule automatically identifies the one to be released first and later on.

Pick Release Sequence Rules

Enter the below information to setup a new pick release sequence rule:

• Rule: Enter the rule name
• Description: Enter rule description
• Effective Dates: From and To date
• Release Priority:
  • Order
  • Outstanding invoice value
  • Schedule date:
  • Departure date:
  • Shipment priority:

Enter the priority sequence for the above from a value of 1 to 5, where 1 is the highest and 5 being the last priority. Also set the ascending or descending flag for each.
