Oracle introduced new pattern based search logic for improved pricing performance. To leverage this feature you must run the concurrent request ‘QP: Pattern upgrade’ and set the below profile options.

• QP: Pattern Search
• QP: Pattern Search Path
• QP: Debug to Time Log
• OM: Debug to 1
• OM: Debug Log Directory to utl directory

Navigation:
Oracle Advanced pricing responsibility -> Reports -> Run Reports -> Select Report name as ‘QP: Pattern Upgrade’ -> Enter the parameters.

• No. Of Threads:

Click ‘OK to submit the request. Navigate to menu bar -> View -> Requests to view the request output.

Report Output:

• This request doesn’t generate any output.
