Material Status COntrol is one of the finest features of Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Oracle Inventory (INV).

Each material will have a status based on subinventory/locator it is in (i.e. corresponding material status) or Lot or Serial status if the item is lot/serial controlled.

Material status control controls what transactions allowed/disallowed for that material.
