does anyone know how WIP Assembly Scrap is costed at each operation sequence and why the scrap unit cost would not be the same as the costed BOM at various op sequences?

  scrap unit cost should be same as costed BOM at that point of time. Coulld you give more details if you see this is not happening ?
  If there are any auto charge items probably they were added to scrap cost.

  Thanks for your reply! The unit scrap costs at various op seqs are always the same across different workorders. However, these scrap costs are lower than the BOM (at the same op seq) for 3 op seq and slightly higher than the BOM for one op seq. I’m not clear why the costs would vary so much from the frozen standard BOM. Also, if there were auto charge items the scrap cost would be consistently higher than the cost on the BOMs. Its a really strange scenario!
