Stock Locators are always defined and attached to subinventories. When I try to create a locator, it says you can’t create as it is already existing (under other subinventory).

This seems to be weird, is it a bug ?

  Its not a bug!!
  The stock locators key flexfeilddefinition is global across all of the subinventories
  in an organization.This means you cant have the same locator (such as row1, rack1 and bin1)
  in two different subinventories.If you have the requirement to use the same locator in several
  subinventories then u can make the locator unique by putting the subinventory identification
  in the first segment of locator flexfeild definition.
