Oracle Inventory Optimization Overview

Oracle Inventory Optimization (IO) is a separate in module in Oracle Value Chain Planning (a.k.a. Advanced Planning & Scheduling).

IO is prmarily used for safety stock planning.
Oracle Inventory Optimization is well integrated with Oracle ASCP Planning. Output of Inventory Optimization (safety stocks) can be included as input in SUpply Chain Planning.
