Items can be created manually or copied from another item or template. In this tutorial you will learn about how to create items by copying from another item.

Description
Items can be created directly by entering every field or simply by copying from another item. Once you copy you can make any changes necessary.

Navigation:

Inventory responsibility -> Items -> Master Items

  • Enter Item Number/name. This must be unique number/name.
  • Enter Item description.
  • Navigate to Tools -> Copy From
  • Enter existing item number from which information should be copied.
  • Click ‘APPLY’ then ‘click ‘DONE’
  • Save the changes made.

Now a new item is created by copying all attribute information from an existing item. After Copying item attributes can be changed if required.
